MICHOU VITAL

Michou Vital's career found its first stage inside one of the most iconic empires in hip hop history — Wu-Tang Records. As Art Director, she designed album covers, built websites, conceived billboards, tour bus wraps, posters, CD and cassette artwork, special edition packaging, and oversaw artist photo shoots. The artwork for Bobby Digital's fourth album — Digital Potions — is officially part of the Wu-Tang body of work. Her creative hand touched Alicia Keys' first documentary, The Diary of Alicia Keys. Additional credits include Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepa, Bow Wow, and V100.

Her path to the stage was not a straight line — but it led to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, where she received two awards at KCACTF Region One Conference 57: the RED DTM Award and the Outside In Award. A member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and a Dean's List honoree.

Playwright. Director. Actress. Her original work Mr. Debonair — a satirical villain origin story set in the underground tunnels of New York City — was created through the 24 Hour Play. Her next production, A Bronx Ballet, receives its staged reading in May 2025 at the LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.
